HeelSec

HeelSec is the computer security group of the Department of Computer Science at the UNC Chapel Hill. HeelSec is led by Prof. Andrew Kwong.

Our research focuses system-level security with a focus on the intersection between hardware and software. Our current project focuses on memory safety, the application of software techniques to exploit hardware vulnerabilities, and the development of defenses for future hardware. You can find some topics that we are working on in research and view some of our published works in publications.
